Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said, extreme level population is under internet coverage now. Nobody can deny that Bangladesh is a digital country at present. Meritorious youths will take Bangladesh into a new height using the information technology.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said this while inaugurating the Digital World 2017 at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center in the capital on Wednesday.The Prime Minister said, an opportunity of industrial revolution is created before us for the expansion of information technology. The main component of this revolution is young men and women that we have.Mentioning technology is developing constantly the premier said, now we can say Bangladesh as Digital Bangladesh. But after the tenth parliamentary election many joked with our given term ‘Digital Bangladesh’ in the election manifesto.The Prime Minister said, though our countrymen are not much educated but they are expert to use mobile phones. There is no example of talking over mobile phones for long duration in any other country. Now people can talk over Skype to their relatives in the foreign countries. If anybody gets money in their hands then they rush to the digital centers for conversation or to see each other.After inaugural speech of the Prime Minister the first citizenship awarded robot of the world ‘Sofia’ came to the stage. At that time Sofia talked to the Prime Minister. Later the Digital World was inaugurated.
